Announcements:

-Seniors – The Dollars for Scholars Awards night is tonight at 7:00 pm in the auditorium.  Please arrive a few minutes early to allow for finding correct seating.

-Students, all requests to change schedules are due by the last day of school. The form will be closed for the summer, so after the last day of school, any changes will require a teacher and parent’s signature.

-All seniors who are still working on Odyssey classes….please have your courses done by the end of the day on Monday, May 12. Please see Mrs. Roslien if you have any questions. Thank you.

-Pella High students – to recognize our teachers during teacher appreciation week, we will have a table set up at lunch for you to write a note to a teacher in general or a teacher who has made an impact in your life. The table will be set up in the lunchroom Monday through Thursday. Thank you from the student council!

Activities:

-Anyone interested in joining next years Student Council should contact Mr. Rasmussen by the end of the day today.

-Anyone involved in Speech and Drama this year should plan on attending a meeting during I Learn B on Thursday in room 2006. We will hear a message from Union Street Players AND announce the fall show. More information on the Speech and Drama Google Classroom page. 

-The Pella High production of Freaky Friday was recognized with several honors from the Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards. Aurelia Zylstra and Joeley Helle both won Outstanding Performance in a Principal Role. “Just One Day” was recognized as a Distinguished Scene. Special Recognition was given to our pit band, and Alex Demuth received Special Recognition in a Principal Role. Congratulations to all! 

-Congrats to the girls soccer team on their win over Indianola last night. 

-Congrats to the boys golf team as they placed 4th yesterday. 

-Good luck to the boys and girls tennis teams as they compete in their conference meets today.
