Announcements:
-All students have iLead today in your iLead classrooms. 9th and 12th grade meet during iLead A, 10th and 11th grade during iLead B.
-Larger lost and found items such as clothing and water bottles are put on a table outside of the auditorium. Smaller items like jewelry and airpods are brought to the main office.
-Freshman, If you are interested in joining Student Council, you should contact Mr. Rasmussen for more information by the end of the school day today!
-The 2026 Yearbooks are in! The Duchess staff will be distributing them during lunch on Thursday.
-Students, this Friday is the last day to add or drop a class. If you need to do so, please stop by the counseling office by the end of the day on Friday.
-Just a reminder, if you signed up for the PE waiver instead of a PE class but then later decide not to go out for a sport or show choir, you will need to take a full year of PE next school year in order to meet our graduation requirements. Seniors, this situation would leave you short a graduation requirement. If you have the waiver and know there is a chance you might not go out, even if it’s a Winter or Spring sport, please get a PE class added to your schedule now. If you do decide to go out, you’ll have the first five days of 2nd semester to drop PE and use the waiver instead. Please see a counselor if you have questions.
Activities:
-If you are interested in joining the Robotics Team, please plan to attend an introduction meeting this Thursday, August 27 at 3:45 in the Industrial Technology Lab – room 101 in the Career Academy. The team is looking for students in grades 9-12 who have skills and interests in engineering, 3D modeling, mechanical design/build, marketing, social media, public relations, or computer programming.
