Congratulations to Pella High School’s Jazz 1 on two exceptional performances at the Iowa Jazz Championships! The band won the class 3A state championship and Morgan Uitermarkt and Penny Shriver were named outstanding performers for the day! This is the 20th state title for Jazz 1! Congratulations!
Congrats to the boys tennis team on their win over PC last night.
If you are interested in trying out for Forte-there will be an information meeting on Thursday in the Library at 5:45.
Good luck to the girls tennis team as they travel to PC today. Varsity girls tennis players are dismissed at 1:15 and the JV girls tennis players are dismissed at 1:30 today.
Congratulations to the following Pella High School students who earned high honors at the Iowa Technology Student Association State STEM Championships.
Principles of Engineering students Grant Hartke and Jack Weaver who won the state championship in Structural Engineering and to Zander Riddel and Lucas Blake who came in a close 2nd.
The Robotics team led by Hayden Papendick, Jack Weaver and Trevor Hundt earned 2nd place in the TSA VEX robotics championship.
Taton Geetings and Dylan Van Wyk also earned 2nd place in the Radio Controlled Transportation championship.
