Tulip Time Barricade Workers Needed

Thousands of visitors descend on Pella to take part in the Tulip Time festivities. To keep them safe, barricades are located around the perimeter of the event to restrict vehicle traffic and are operated by workers. We are currently in desperate need of workers to fill these needs.

Work slots are 3 hours long and available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Current available slots run from 1:30-4:30p, 4:30-7:30p, and 7:30-10:00p.
Students can get volunteer hours or can be paid $10/hour.

Congratulations to the Battle of the Books team – The Problematic Paperbacks, who qualified for the Grand Battle on April 26 in Marshalltown.

Congrats to the girls track team as Marissa Ferebee, Kylie Tauke and the Sprint Medley all placed 1st. Both the Sprint Medley and 4×800 teams posted the top times in 3A.

Congrats to the girls tennis team as they defeated Ballard last night.

Good luck to the boys tennis team as they play PC.

Good luck to the boys soccer team as they host Norwalk.

Good luck to the girls soccer team as they travel to Norwalk. Girls soccer players are dismissed at 3:00.

Good luck to the jazz band as they compete in the Iowa Jazz Championship.

Good luck to the Robotics team as they compete at the state of Iowa Technology Student Association STEM competitions today.
