Announcements

School pictures will be taken tomorrow, September 17, 2014. Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors AND Seniors must have pictures taken, pictures will be taken in the cafeteria. Seniors will also need to have their picture taken in the Library.  Picture forms may be picked up in the office.

Sophomores – Jostens will be here today to take your class ring order from 11:50 to 12:45 in the cafeteria

Seniors – Announcements/Cap & Gown Presentation today in the west gym from 10:40 to 11:25.

Improv ONLY for Speech team today after school at 3:15 in room 116.

Students – if you are interested in volunteering at Madison, please sign up in the main office. The Literacy Army has changed and is now called PALS. The program helps elementary students with their reading in small groups or individually. Please sign up to volunteer during your open period or after school.

A reminder for students that lip sync tryouts are this Wednesday and Thursday. Please sign up outside Mr. Rasmussen’s door for an audition time.

This week there  will be a Wellness Supply drive located at the main entrance, next to the office.  Please donate toiletries canned foods, and other personal items.  Drop off times are from 7:45 – 8:10 in the morning.  There will be an auction for prizes at the end of the drive.

Students are to bring their laptops to class meeting today.

Results:

Cross Country  boys placed 1st  with Adam Sievers in 1st, NIck Bernhagen, 3rd, Ben Warner-4th, Sawyer Burton – 5th, Travis Dingeman – 7th , Josh Van Dusseldorp – 9th.

Girls also placed 1st with Tess Rooda in 1st, Kelcey Blommers – 3rd, Ciara Buchheit – 6th, Payton Phelps – 7th and Nicole Schnebbe – 11th.

JV Football defeated Oskaloosa 26-19
