Students: If you are interested in visiting with any of the named college admission representatives this week, please attend in the senior lounge.

     Monday:

  • 9am – Drake
  • 10am – Simpson
  •  1pm – Iowa Central Community College

    Tuesday:

  • 10am – Marshalltown Community College

 

Activities

There will be a wrestling meeting after school in the commons on Wednesday, 10/27.  It will be a brief 10-15 minute meeting.

Tickets are now on sale for Pella High School’s fall play – Clue: On Stage. Show dates are November 4, 5, and 6 at 7:00 PM in the Pella High School Auditorium. Tickets and more information can be found at www.pellaschools.org/productions.

Attention all football players Grades 9-12: Equipment check-in will be after school Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week.  If you are open 8th hour, Coach McKinstrey will be there to check in equipment at that time also.  Please have your jerseys and pants washed. Remove decals and numbers from helmets.

Congratulations to all of the students who completed the audition process for the All State Orchestra, Choir, and Band Saturday. Students selected for these ensembles represent the top one percent of musicians in the state of Iowa! Sixteen students from Pella High School were selected for this honor!

  • Congratulations to: Jacob Rietveld, Bodie Peters, Kara Chenoweth, and Aleigha Ausman for being selected to the Iowa All State Chorus!
  • Congratulations to: Penny Shriver, Erin Mathes, Payton Lyons, Riley Sorheim, Eli Ebeling, Dora Roorda, Tyler Mifflin, Eliza VanZee, Morgan Uitermarkt and Isaac Boualavong for being accepted to the all state band!

The Aquagirls battled it out with Decorah on Saturday,  it was a great team effort and a close meet. Your Pella Conference champs were: Hannah Nedder in the 100 fly, Maylei Ruggles in the 100 back, and Alexa Heiar in the 100 breaststroke.  If you see an Aquagirl, congratulate her on a great season!
