Don’t forget to bring laundry supplies for the Operation Share the Load Raffle! Bring them to the table in the lunchroom during lunch to be entered in a raffle for a VIP parking pass!
Pella High School will be hosting the Iowa High School Music Association State Contest on Saturday, October 16. All of our parking lots will be utilized for that event.
- All entrances on the south side of the school (facing University Street) will be blocked off.
- Students or coaches coming for all activities will need to park off campus as the event will begin early Saturday morning.
- Students and drivers leaving for swimming should park in the lot at Faith Christian Reformed Church.

Congratulations to the debate team on their success at this week’s debates.
There will be a boys swimming information meeting with Coach Jones at 4pm on Wednesday, Oct. 20th at Newton High School in room 11.
Winter Cheerleading tryout sign up for the 2021-2022 school year is now open! Tryouts will take place Tuesday October 26th after school starting at 3:45 PM
Congrats to the varsity volleyball team as they placed 2nd in the Little Hawkeye Tournament.
Good luck to the 9th and Varsity football team as they travel to Clear Creek Amana. 9th grade is dismissed at 1:50 and the bus will leave at 2:15. Varsity is dismissed at 3:00 and the bus will leave at 3:30.
Good luck to the Marching Dutch as they host the State Marching Band Festival on Saturday. Just a reminder to please remove all vehicles from school lots before 6:00 AM tomorrow. If you plan to leave your car overnight tonight, please park at Faith Church.
