Tomorrow we will be on a 90 minute early dismissal schedule, dismissing school at 1:45

 

Congratulations to the Marching Dutch.  They placed 1st in a very tough 3A class at the Valleyfest Showdown this past Saturday.  They also took top honors in Percussion and Marching.  They also had the 3rd highest score for all classes!

 

Thespian festival attendees stop in room 116 after school today for a brief meeting. See Mrs. Jones if you can’t attend.

 

Pella Plus will meet Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week.

 

Congrats to the following 9th graders for being selected into the OPUS Honor Choir Festival in Ames in November: Brady VanWaardhuizen, Bryce McCain, Dreyton Vanderwerf, Emily Cutler, and Olivia VanderLeest.

Guidance Annoucements

Students interested in pursuing any courses through DMACC or Central College for next semester should stop in the guidance office to see Mrs. Thompson this week.

 

Students taking the PSAT need to report to room 211 of the Career Academy by 8:10 AM on Wednesday. You will need to bring a number 2 pencil and know your student ID number. You may also wish to bring a calculator.

 

The Compass Test will be offered at Pella HS on Wednesday, November 11th. Students interested in taking the Compass Test please stop in the guidance office to register or ask any questions.

 

Athletics

Early Dismissal:  Cross Country will dismiss at 2:00 and the bus will depart at 2:15
Results:

  • Football defeated Newton Friday night.
  • Volleyball won their invite.
