Compass testing – The Compass Test is needed for admission into Iowa Community Colleges like Kirkwood, Indian Hills or DMACC. If you are interested in taking the compass test at Pella HS on Wed, Nov. 5th, please see Mrs. Thompson in the guidance office to register.

Did you know that more than 1,500 homeless teenagers sleep outside in the brutal winter nights in IOWA?  If you want to help you can donate for Reggie’s Sleep Out in the main office.

Auto crime scene accident simulation will be set up by the stadium next week.  Please do not disturb.

Welding students going on the field trip to DMACC today need to be at the shop at the beginning of 3rd period.

 Athletics 

Results:

  • Girls Swim team with Newton defeated Dowling and lost to Ankney

  • Kira Hanson placed 4th in 200 Medley Relay and  100 Freestyle and 7th in 400 Freestyle

  • Samantha Hedrick had a new pool record in the 100 Butterfyl, placed 2nd in the 200 Medley, 1st in 50 Freestyle and 2nd in the 400 Freestyle relay

  • Sara Martin placed 4th in the 200 Medley Relay, 5th in the 100 Butterfyl, 2nd in the 200 Freestyle Relay, 2nd in 100 Breastroke.

  • Madeline Webb placed 7th in 200 Freestyle, 4th in the 200 Freestyle Relay, 5th in the 400 Freestyle Relay.
