All speech team groups have a practice time scheduled this week – see the door of room 116 TODAY and let a coach know if you can’t make the rehearsal.

Seniors – Please check the list hanging in the office window to make sure your name is how you want it on your diploma.

Shrek cast:  every cast member needs to stop in the auditorium today between the hours of 3:30 to 6:30 to try on all of their costumes.  This includes costumes already tried on.  Please bring shoes and other accessories needed.  Dress rehearsals begin Tuesday night.
Athletics 

Wrestling sign up is in Charma’s office for those going out.

Girls Basketball will have a meeting tomorrow morning at 7:40 a.m. in Coach Garland’s room 210. Girls that have not signed up yet, please see Charma.

Basketball and Wrestling Cheer tryouts will be held Wednesday at 2:30pm at the Madison Elementary Gym. Please sign up and pick up an information packet in Charma’s office.

Results:

Congrats to the Girls Swim team for placing 2nd in Districts. Kira Hanson placed 8th in 100 Backstroke and 7th in 500 Freestyle. Sara Martin placed 5th in 100 Butterfly, 2nd in 200 Free Relay (she advances to state with a new school record.) and 9th in 100 Meter Breaststroke. Samantha Hedrick advances to state in 200 medley relay placing 2nd, 1st in 100 butterfly (new school record and new pool record), 2nd in 200 Free Relay (new school record) and 1st in 400 Free Relay. Madeline Webb placed 5th in 200 MFree and 3rd in 100 Free.

Congratulations to Forte members Macy Nossaman, Jessica Pottridge, Sarah Coppock and Elyse Parisee on their performances Saturday at the ISDTA State Solo Competition in Newton.  Macy, Jessica and Sarah received a Division I rating and Elyse received a Division ll rating.  Sarah placed 12th and Jessica placed 10th in Class V Dance.

Girls volleyball lost to Indianola in a closely played game losing in 4. Thanks to all the girls for a great season and hard work!

Congratulations to the Cross Country boys for placing 3rd at State with Ben Warner as All State and to the girls for placing 6th. Great job and thanks to all members of the team for your Focus and Efforts for a fun and successful year!

Varsity football as they host Newton tonight in the 2nd round of playoffs. Tickets are available until 4:00 in Charma’s office for $6.00 per person. Gates will open at 6:00 tonight.
