Announcements:

-Kelly Kowzan with Central College will be here today to visit with students in the commons over lunch.

-Pella Christian High School is hosting a Christian College Fair tonight from 6:30-8:30.  The event is free and open to all college-bound students and their families.

-We will run a modified bell schedule tomorrow due to the homecoming court announcement.  Students, please check your email for the schedule.

-Guest forms for the homecoming dance are available in the office.  They are due back on Wednesday, October 1st.  You need to have a form filled out for any guest who is from a different school or has already graduated.  Guests may not be above the age of 20.

-There will be a representative from the US Army here tomorrow, Tuesday, September 23rd, over lunch to visit with students in the commons.

Activities:

-FCA is hosting a lunch Bible study on Tuesday, September 23. It will be held in Ms. Howe’s classroom, the Foods room, during Ilearn A. Hope to see you there!

-Congrats to the football team on their win over North Polk last Friday. 

-Congrats to the girls XC team as they placed 2nd at the Griak Invitational. 

-Congrats to the boys cross country team as they placed 7th at the Heartland invitational and the girls placed 14th. 

-Congrats to the volleyball team on their wins at the Ballard Tournament. 

-Good luck to the 9th and JV football team as they travel to North Polk. 9th grade football players are dismissed after 6th period.  JV football players are dismissed at 3:10. 

-Good luck to the JV volleyball team as they travel to PCM tonight.
