-Reminder – Picture day is tomorrow for all students and staff.  Seniors- tomorrow you will be called out of class according to your last name to get your photos taken during 5th or 6th period.  Please go to the senior lounge to have your photo for the yearbook taken and the secondary gym for your Life Touch photo.  The Life Touch photo will be in local newspapers when you graduate and will also be the photo on your permanent transcript.

-The Pella High School Speech Team will hold two organizational meetings this week. The first opportunity is during I Learn A today, and the second is after school tomorrow, Tuesday, September 12th at 3:30. Both meetings are in room 2006. If you are interested in acting, singing, improv, public speaking or even mime, then our award winning Speech team is for you. Even if you have been on the team before, we would like you to attend a meeting! 

–Iowa State will be visiting today from 11:15-12:15. They will be set-up in the Commons. 

-Buena Vista University will be visiting on Wednesday September 13 at 1:15 in the Senior Lounge

–Dordt University will be visiting on Friday, September 15 at 9:00 in the Senior Lounge

Activities

-Good luck to the boys and girls cross country teams as they travel to Ballard. Cross country teams are dismissed after 6th period.

-Good luck to the JV Football team as they host Indianola tonight.
