Announcements:

-State tennis has been moved indoors at Central for the day, so students may park at the tennis court lot and Caldwell for the remainder of today.

-A representative from the US Army will be in the commons today over lunch to visit with students.

-A representative from Grand Canyon University will be here tomorrow, Tuesday, October 7th, in the commons over lunch to visit with students.

-If you are interested in purchasing a ‘Pella in Pink’ t-shirt for the football game on October 17th, please remember that the store closes today at 6:00pm.  You can find the link in your email.

-Seniors – Josten’s will be in the commons tomorrow, Tuesday, to collect your orders for graduation items.  

Activities:

-Parking will not be available at the tennis court or Caldwell park tomorrow due to state tennis. Students will need to find alternative parking.  If you cannot find spots on campus, you may park across the street at Faith Church for Tuesday only.

-Congratulations to the Marching Dutch on an incredible weekend of outstanding performances! The band placed first in their class at the Bands of America Waukee Regional contest, also winning best General Effect. Of the 29 bands performing, the top 12 advanced to open class finals, including the Marching Dutch, where they placed 10th!

-Good luck to the girls tennis team as they compete at state today!
