Congratulations to all students who auditioned for the Iowa All State Band, Choir and Orchestra! Students earning all state status represent the top 1% of all high school musicians in Iowa.

Nine Pella High School choir students earned all state recognition on Saturday.

Those students are: Grace Brown, Ellie Wogen, Olivia Hood, Braelyn Ensor, Jacob Rietveld, Jorden Held, Bodie Peters, Treyton Turnbull, and Eli Burrows. Two students earned first alternate status. Those students are: Aleigha Ausman and Sam Miller.

Eleven Pella High School band students earned all state recognition on Saturday. 

Those students are:

Penny Shriver, Payton Lyons, Erin Mathes, Rachael Stratton, Eli Ebeling, Tyler Mifflin, Grace Vander Beek, Morgan Uitermarkt, Jace Recker, Isaac Boualavong, and Kyler Nunnikhoven. Special congratulations to Tyler and Morgan for earning the top audition of the day in each of their centers! Four students earned the first alternate designation. Those students are: Tess Hopkins, Emmalee Spurgeon, Eliza Van Zee and Karsyn Lyons.

Students – if you are interested in pursuing an online class through DMACC please stop in the counseling office to visit with Mrs. Thompson about options.

Trinity College will be here today at 11:15 in the Commons.

Activities

Tickets are now on sale for the fall musical: Little Shop of Horrors. Show dates are November 3, 4, and 5. Purchase your tickets online at pellaschools.org/productions. Student tickets are $5 online or $7 at the door. See Mrs. Whittington with questions about tickets. 

Congrats to the football team on their win over Cedar Rapids Washington last Friday.
