Announcements:

-A representative from the Ivy College of Business from Iowa State University will be here over lunch tomorrow, November 4th, to visit with students in the commons.

Activities:

-FCA is starting weekly Bible studies through the book of James. We will meet every Tuesday starting today! It will take place during Ilearn A in Ms. Howe’s room, and we hope to see you all there

-Congratulations to everyone involved in the play on their great performances over the weekend.

-Congrats to the boys cross country team as they placed 3rd at state last Friday. Canaan Dunham placed 2nd. Dunham broke the long-standing school record of Zach Buchheit of 15:10 set at the 2011 state meet.  Mason Gaulke placed 23rd, Porter Carlton was 26th, Jonah Ebersole was 38th and Noah Schuknech was 40th.

-Congrats to the girls cross country team as they are STATE CHAMPIONS for the 4th year in a row. Marissa Ferebee placed 1st. Elsie Brenneman was 4th, Lizzy Vande Voort placed 7th, and Ruth Dunham was 9th to all earn First Team All-State honors. Carleigh Altwine placed 16th to round out the scoring.

-Congrats to the football team on their win over Davenport North last Friday.

-Good luck to the volleyball team as they compete at state today. Just a reminder that tickets must be purchased online and the xtream arena has a clear bag policy.  Volleyball players are dismissed after 4th period.
