-A representative from Loras College will be here today during lunch in the commons to visit with students.

-Are you a high school student looking to make a difference? Volunteering at Madison Elementary is a great opportunity to give back to your community while earning silver cord hours! Check out the announcements on the TVs in the commons and scan the QR code to apply.

-Please remember that the track and stadium are closed and off limits to all foot traffic until today after 3:00 pm.

-There is a box by the front office for the coat drive until November 8. Please bring in any new or used coats, hats, gloves, or winter gear in good condition to donate to Crossroads. 

Activities:

-Wrestling Cheer tryouts will be held this Wednesday at 3:00. Today is the last day to sign up in the front office. 

-Basketball Cheer Season is HERE!  Ready to bring the energy and spirit to the court? Basketball cheer kicks off on November 12th from 4:00 to 5:30 PM, and we want YOU to be a part of it! Got questions? Coach Conway will be hanging out in the commons during lunch on November 6th to chat and or email [email protected]. 

-Congratulations to the Marching Dutch on two incredible performances Saturday. The band earned its 50th consecutive division I rating at the Iowa High School Music Association’s state marching band contest Saturday morning. Saturday night the band won best color guard, best percussion, placed first in class 3A and earned the highest score of the night, regardless of class, at the Mid Iowa Band Championships in Ankeny!

-Congrats to the 9th and varsity football team on their wins over Bondurant last Friday.

-Good luck to the cross country teams and JV football as they compete tonight.  JV Cross country members are dismissed after 7th period.
