Announcements:

-We will be hosting our Career Fair during iLead on Wednesday.  We will have a modified bell schedule that day.  All students are invited to ‘Dress for Success’ on Wednesday.  The theme is ‘Cardigans and Quarter Zips.’

Activities:

-Boys Track and Field will have a brief meeting today at 11:20 in Coach VanHauen’s room. 

-If you are interested in the ESports Club, please attend a meeting at the Queue immediately after school on this Wednesday.

-The Pella Large Group Speech team successfully hosted District contest on Saturday for over 25 schools. 16 PHS entries competed and 13 groups earned a “one” rating and will advance to State on February 7th. You can see all of our Speech events and all of Pella Christian’s Speech events on Thursday, January 29th at All City Speech Night. All City starts at 7 pm on Thursday here at Pella High. Free will donation at the door. 

Speech team T-shirts are in and can be picked up in room 2006. 

-The boys golf team will have a meeting after school on Wednesday in the Health room.

-If you are interested in participating in a spring sport, please fill out the form that was sent to your email. 

-Congrats to the boys basketball team on their win over Norwalk last Friday. Congrats to Jack McGuire on becoming the 8th player for Pella since 1995 to score 1000 points.

-Congrats to the girls wrestling team as they placed 1st over the weekend. Isabella Smith picked up her 100th win!

-Congrats to the boys wrestling team as they placed 3rd over the weekend.

-Good luck to the girls bowling team and boys basketball as they compete today.
