Announcements:

-Seniors, remember that the orientation for the Dollars for Scholars scholarships in the auditorium TODAY during iLearn A.  This is a great opportunity to get money for college and everyone who applies will receive a scholarship! Please bring your computers!

-Any student wishing to bring a guest to the winter formal dance that attends a different high school or has already graduated, will need to fill out a guest form and have it returned by this Wednesday, January 24th.  Forms can be picked up in the main office.

-Seniors who are attending the ski trip need to have a signed waiver.   Please stop in the main office or see Stephen Gaul to get one.

Activities:

–If you are interested in intramural basketball, please email Mr. Thorson or Ryan Sales.   If you have filled out the google form you do not need to email.

-Congrats to Acapella on their 1st place win on Saturday!  Special shout out to the show choir band for winning best band of the day, Eli Ebeling being rewarded as best soloist and Harleigh Walkup as star performer!  

-Thank you to everyone who helped with District Large Group Speech contest on Saturday. 16 of our 21 performances will advance to State contest on February 3rd. Congrats to the team. 

-Speech team T-shirts can be picked up in room 2006 today. 

-Everyone is invited to see the Speech team perform at All City Speech Night this Thursday at 7 pm here at Pella High. Free will donation at the door. 

-Good luck to the boys and girls basketball teams as they host Des Moines North tonight.
