Announcements:

-The Ski trip for Seniors has been canceled.

-Quincy University will be in the Commons today during Smart Lunch. 

-Seniors: Make sure that your Dollars for Scholars profiles are completed by Feb 28 at 11:59PM. See Mrs. Van Zante with any questions.

Activities:

-Auditions for the 2024 Improv Show will be held on Thursday during I Learn A or B, after school at 3:30, Friday during I Learn A or B and after school at 3:30. Anyone is able to audition for the improv show and we love to have new faces at auditions and on stage. If you have conflicts with audition times see Mrs. Jones and we will set up a time on Wednesday. 

-Congratulations to the PHS Individual Events Speech Team. At District contest in Montezuma on Saturday the team earned 38 “ones” and 7 “twos”. 38 entries will advance to State on March 9th at Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids. 

-Intramural basketball today: Senior B vs. Juniors during iLearn A.

-There will be a girls soccer preseason meeting tomorrow in the library after school.

-Congrats to the band students on a great concert last Friday. 

-Congrats to the Forte team on a great winter showcase. 

-Good Luck to Fortè as they will be performing today at the halftimes of the 5A games at the Girls State Basketball Tournament.  

-Good luck to the boys basketball team as they travel to Indianola to take on Winterset in the substate final. Tickets should be purchased online.
