Announcements:

-Freshman:  The parking lot at Faith Church will be closed this week, Monday-Thursday.  You will need to park at Caldwell Park or find legal street parking.

-Seniors, Dollars for Scholars registration ends February 28th at midnight. Please finish your application by then to be eligible for scholarships. 

Activities:

-Intramural basketball today:  Senior B versus Freshman during iLearnA.

“Happy National FFA week! Today’s dress up day is red, white and blue. Ag students, are invited the truck show after school today at 3:40 in front of the ag room! There will be no burnouts! Ag Olympics will follow! Tomorrow’s dress up day will be future career day. FFA members, make sure to check your email on Skyzone details!” 

-Girls tennis will have a preseason meeting in the library after school on February 20th. 

-Girls golf will have a preseason meeting before school at 7:30 or after school at 3:40 in Mrs. Tangen’s room on February 20th.

-Congrats to the girls basketball team on their win over Ballard Saturday.

-Congrats to all the state wrestling qualifiers and to Jackson VanKley who placed 4th.

-Congrats to the show choir participants on hosting a great Dutch Masters event.

-Congratulations to Luci Hopkins and Kolton Messer on a strong performance in Ensemble Acting at Large Group All State on Saturday at ISU. 

-Congratulations to the Pella Robotics team as they earned a trip to the State of Iowa Robotics Championship! The team also won the coveted Engineering Design Award and the Finalist Alliance Award. Also congratulations to team Captains Jack Weaver and Ben Holmbeck who were selected as Dean’s List Semi-finalists.

-Good luck to Alex Mitchell at State Bowling!

-Good luck to the boys basketball team as they host Carlisle tonight.  A reminder that all tickets are required to be bought online, student activity passes will not be accepted.
