All teachers and students are to go directly to the auditorium after period 2 to attend an assembly. We will not run an adjusted schedule, regular day schedule.

Juniors, Sophomores and Freshman – please go to your school email account and vote for student council president and vice president.  Voting ends on Friday.

Juniors – please go to your school email account and vote for your senior class shirt.

All Speech and Drama participants: Turn in your point sheets by the end of today for Thespian honors. The envelope is outside of Room 116. Ask Mrs. Jones or Mrs. Whittington if you have questions.

PHS Ambassadors (except seniors) need to see Mrs. Manning sometime today!

Athletics

Early Dismissal:  Boys Tennis will dismiss at 1:50 and bus leaves at 2:00.  Girls Golf will dismiss after 7th.

Football players:  There will be a meeting for all those interested in playing football next fall on Thursday, May 8 at 7:40 in istudy hall room 113.  If you are unable to attend, please see Coach McKinstrey in advance.

Congratulations to the April student-athletes of the month! Becky Visser, Adam Carey and Carter Terpstra.

All girl soccer players need to see Coach Jackie in room 402 before lunch today.

JV boys soccer please report to the complex by 4:50 tonight and varsity to arrive by 6:00 p.m.

Results:

Boys Track once again are  Conference Champs for the 3rd year with Garret Jansen in discus, Jordan Pingel in the 800 meter and 4 x 800 relay team of Payson Vande Lune, Aaron Houtz, Josh Bailey and Levi Heschke. 2nd place was Cody De Kruyff in shot put, Chase Van Sant in high Jump, Jordan Pingel in 400 meter hurdles.

Congratulations to the Girls Track team on their 5th consecutive conference championship. The Lady Dutch brought home 7 conference titles to score 185 points to 2nd place DCGs 132. The night was highlighted by the Shuttle Hurdle team of Becky Visser, Corin McKinstrey, Kiki Pingel, and Lydia VanEe breaking the Conference record

JV boys soccer lost to Waukee and Norwalk in their invitational.

Girls Tennis lost to Norwalk.

Girls Golf finished 2nd in the conference meet. Camille Henry was conference meet medalist and receiving all conference honors were Camille and Aanna Roslien.
