Senior Breakfast tomorrow morning – HS staff will be serving omelettes to seniors on the front lawn starting at 7:30.

Graduates of Mrs. Pingel, Mrs. Zylstra, and Miss Parsons’ 5th Grade Classes You are invited to a 5th grade reunion to celebrate your graduation on Wednesday, May 20 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Jefferson Intermediate School in Mrs. Pingel’s room.


Congratulations to the shooting team for placing 2nd in the conference trap shoot on Saturday.


6th & 7th hour government will meet in room 111.
Choir Concert is tonight.  Call times are:  Select choir at 5:45pm and concert choir at 6:15pm.



Early Dismissal: Boys Golf will dismiss after 5th.


There will be a volleyball meeting on Wednesday morning at 7:20am in the study hall room. Please bring your laptops to the meeting. All girls that are playing next season should plan to attend. If you can’t make the meeting, please email Coach Brand. Summer workouts start June 1.


Congratulations to Jacob Speltz for his recognition on The Predicament’s 2015 Honorable Mention All-State Academic Team after the 2014-2015 wrestling season.



  • Boys soccer defeated Mt. Pleasant Friday night.
  • Girls soccer defeated Marshalltown Friday night.
  • Girls Tennis defeated Albia and Oskaloosa in districts last Friday and will advance to team regionals.
