Battle of the Books today after school at 3:15 in Room 114..

 

“High School Seniors:  Remember, the deadline for high school seniors to apply for scholarships through Pella Dollars for Scholars is less than two weeks away: March 10 at midnight. No applications will be accepted after that date. Have you looked to see which scholarships for which you are qualified to apply through Pella Dollars for Scholars?  Check it out at pella.dollarsforscholars.org, and submit your applications today!”

 

Pella High School Speech entries received 32 division I ratings and 10 division II ratings at District Individual Event contest on Saturday at Tri County High School. The team will next perform at State Speech Contest on March 14th at Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School. Rehearsals will continue as scheduled for the next two weeks unless other arrangements are made with Mrs. Jones or Mrs. Whittington.

 

Juniors and Seniors:  Prom and After Prom tickets will go on sale starting next week Monday in Charma’s office.  Prom tickets are $6.00 and After Prom tickets are $14.00.

Pella Pride Clothing Drive – If you have any Pella clothing: T-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, stocking hats, hats, etc.t hat are in  good condition? Donations of these can be of any size  that doesn’t fit or you are looking to get rid of.  All Items will be given to students who may not have Pella pride clothing to wear. Drop off box is by Charma’s office.
Athletics

Girls soccer and girls golf sign ups are in Charma’s office. Girls soccer will have a meeting Thursday after school in the room 113 study hall.

 

Good luck to:

Varsity boys basketball team as they play Norwalk at SE Polk tonight in the substate round.  Game starts at 7:00. Doors will open at 6:00 and tickets will be $6.00 per person. Students check your emails for information on cheering for our team. Go Dutch!


Good luck to the Forte Pom and Military teams as they will perform tonight at the Girls State Basketball Tournament during the halftime of the 6:45 and 8:30pm games.
