Congratulations to the team of Tom Pettit, Abby Fyfe, Tanner Phelps, Adam Sievers, and Alex Donelson for going 2-2 at the US Department of Energy Science Bowl on Saturday against some very tough competition.

The Speech Team competed in District Large Group contest on Saturday at Pleasantville High School. Twelve groups received a “I” rating and will advance to State, and 8 groups received a “two” rating. State contest is February 8th at Lin-Mar High School. The Speech team will be in action next at All City Speech Night this Saturday at Pella Christian High School – the performances start at 7 pm.

Seniors – the senior ski trip is on Febrary 6th.  Wednesday througFriday of this week there will be a table set up for you to sign up during lunch.  You will need to sign up by Friday and have your sign up sheet in.  Check your email for the signup sheet.  If you are not 18 you will need your parents permission.  You can also pay your $15 donation at the table when you sign up.

Congratulations to Levi Azinger who received his 100th win at the Williamsburg wrestling tournament and placing 1st.

JV wrestling at Marshalltown

  • Cole Larson – 2nd place, Andrew Whitten, Dylan Larson, Luke Roose all received  3rd place, James Van Gorp and Zach Van Donselaar got 4th place.

Congratulations to Forte on their performances at the MA Regional Competition this past Saturday at Southeast Polk High School.

JV received a  2 Superior Award

  •       Technique Award in Pom
  •       High Point Award in Pom and Military

Varsity received Super Sweepstakes Award

  •             Choreography Award in Pom, Kick and Military
  •             Technique Award in Pom, Kick and Military
  •             High Point Award in Military
  •             Jessica Pottridge placed 4th in her 9-10 solo division

Varsity girls and boys basketball teams all defeated Oskaloosa Friday night.
