ANNOUNCEMENTS

Seniors please check your emails to verify whether you will be attending the senior ski trip. It will be on February 8th.

Monday is the last day to add any classes in your schedule. Please make sure to finalize your schedule in the counseling office.

Student Council will have a meeting on Tuesday, January 23 at 1:20 to make final plans for Winter Formal.

 Winter Formal is this Saturday from 9-12 at MADISON elementary (doors will close at 11). Cost is $5 per person.  There is a sign up in the office for those bringing someone from outside the district.  Students must bring their student i.d.  Middle school students are not allowed.
All seniors will be dismissed from 5th period this Wednesday to attend the Dollars for Scholars meeting in the auditorium. The meeting begins at the start of 5th period, and seniors will have time to eat lunch at the end of the period. Seniors, please bring your laptops.

Congratulations to the 15 speech team entries that advance to State. 71 of our 87 participants will advance in at least one event. State Speech contest is held on February 4th in Cedar Rapids. Everyone can see all of the PHS speech entries at All City Speech Night on Tuesday January 31st starting at 7 pm at Pella Christian.

Congrats to our show choirs as they traveled to DCG this weekend.  Bravo brought home 1st place in the prep division and made it to finals for the 2nd week in a row!  AcaPella also brought home the 1st place in 3A, 1st runner up overall, and the best male soloist award went to Jarod Martens.  Their next competition is Feb 4 at West Liberty.
