Congrats to our show choirs for their performances at West Branch this weekend. Bravo made Pella history by making the finals, beating out many varsity groups to earn their spot. AcaPella brought home the Grand Championship overall and also received the following awards: Best Vocals, Best Choreography, Best Show Design, Best Costumes, Best Stage Crew, Best Showstopper Moment, and Best Special Effects. Their next competition is this Saturday at Dallas Center-Grimes. Bravo performs at 11:15 and AcaPella at 4:15 pm. We hope to see you there!

ATHLETICS

Good Luck to the Wrestling team tonight and to the 9th grade, JV and Varsity boys and girls basketball tonight at Knoxville! JV boys will leave at 5:00 from the bus loop and varsity boys will leave at 4:45 from the bus loop.

Girls interested in participating in track this season should attend one of two meetings on Thursday, January 19. The first option is at 7:50am the other at 3:20pm. Both will be in Coach Rasmussen’s room 216. Both meetings will have the same information on the upcoming season. If you are unable to attend either meeting please contact Coach Rasmussen to get the information.
