Announcements:

-The admissions representative and band director from Iowa Central Community College will be here on Monday, September 15th, over lunch in the commons to visit with students.

-A representative from Lipscomb University will be in the commons next week on Tuesday, September 15th to visit with students.

Activities:

-FCA is hosting their first huddle of the year this Saturday, September 13th in the main gym. We will have a speaker, games, snacks, and great fellowship. Hope to see you all there!

-Best Buddies is a global organization supporting people living with intellectual disabilities and fostering friendship and inclusion.  Best Buddies is launching a new chapter here at Pella High School and we are kicking it off with an informational meeting next Tuesday night, September 16th at 6:30 p.m. in the high school library.  You don’t have to join to attend the kick off meeting.  Come see what Best Buddies is all about, everyone is welcome! See Mrs. Black in room 1404 for more information.

-Congrats to the boys and girls cross country teams as the girls placed 1st and the boys placed 2nd last night.

-Congrats to the girls tennis team on their conference win last night.

-Good Luck to the football team as they travel to North Scott. Players are dismissed at 1:20 PM Cheerleaders are dismissed at 3 PM.
