Announcements:

-Students, all requests to change schedules are due by the last day of school. The form will be closed for the summer, so after the last day of school, any changes will require a teacher and parent’s signature.

-All seniors who are still working on Odyssey classes….please have your courses done by the end of the day on Monday, May 12. Please see Mrs. Roslien if you have any questions. Thank you.

-Bring your car to the Pella High School Car Show tomorrow Saturday, May 10th from 10:00 to 1:00 in the Madison Elementary parking lot! It is a $15 per-car entry fee but it is free to spectators. 

Prizes will be raffled off at the conclusion of the event (free oil changes, merch, gift cards, and more). If you don’t want to enter your sweet ride, come enjoy some barbeque from the Amos Flava’ My Eatzz food truck and look at some amazing cars. Hope to see you there!

Activities:

-Auditions for the fall play – “Anne of Green Gables” will be held Monday May 19, Tuesday May 20th and Wednesday May 21st during various iLearns, 8th period study halls, and after school. Use the Google Form posted in Google Classroom to sign up for a time and for more information. Contact Mrs. Hopkins if you have any questions. 

-Congratulations to the Girls Track team on their 2nd place finish at the Conference meet last night.

-Congrats to the boys track team who finished 1st in the conference meet last night. 

Pella’s individual titles included:

110 Hurdles – Logan VanDenBroek (14.58)

400 Meters – Harrison Mullens (48.49)

800 Meters – Canaan Dunham (1:58.03)

1600 Meters – Canaan Dunham (4:15.94)

3200 Meters – Canaan Dunham (9:28.5)

Sprint Medley Relay – Harry Tallman, Landen Pleima, Rex. Rhamy, Harrison Mullens (1:32.97)

-Congrats to the girls track team who placed 2nd in the conference meet. 

-Congrats to the girls golf team who placed 1st in their meet last night. 

-Good luck to the boys golf team as they compete today.
