Announcements:
-A rep from Iowa State University will be set up in the Commons over SmartLunch on Tuesday, February 13th.
Activities:
-Congratulations to the PHS Large Group Speech team! Pella High School Large Group Speech Team received All State recognition for five events and 29 students who participated in these events. 5 of the 29 students are double All Staters, being recognized in two events. Four events are non-performing; Y’all in Ensemble Acting, Hallmarks of Horror in Readers Theatre, Tootsie in Musical Theatre and the improv group of Sales, Van Dyke, Gaul and Demuth. One event is performing, Almost, Maine in Ensemble Acting. All State is at ISU on Feb. 17th.
-Good luck to the boys and girls basketball teams as they host DCG tonight.
-Good luck to the bowling teams as they compete in the conference meet.
-Good luck to the boys swim team as they compete at state.
-Good luck to the boys wrestling team as they compete at districts tomorrow.
