Congrats to both show choirs as they traveled to West Liberty this weekend. There were 15 show choirs in competition. Bravo took first place in the prep division. AcaPella won overall grand champion, and brought home many caption awards: best choreography, best band, most original show, best costumes, and Mason VanGorp earned the best male soloist trophy, with the solo in “Welcome to the Black Parade”. Their next competition is this Saturday, at Benton Community in Van Horne.
Battle of the Books will meet Thursday, February 12, at 8:00 and 3:15 in Room 114…you may select the time you would like to attend.
This weekend at State Speech Contests, the Pella speech team came away with 6 “Division 2” ratings and 8 “Division 1” ratings, 4 of which were straight “Ones” from all three judges. Congratulations to all performers!!
