Mrs. Soria’s 5th period class should eat 1st lunch today.
Today is the last day to turn in senior ski trip information. Please turn into Lauren Kingery, Emily Dux or Mr. Fessler. Seniors will meet at 8:00 a.m. in the east gym Wednesday morning for the senior ski trip. Bring your own lunch OR money for concessions. Students NOT GOING are to be in class for the day.
There will be a free breakfast Wednesday morning before school!
Show choir attended 2 competitions this week. State contest was at Marshalltown on Monday night. Bravo & AcaPella both brought home “1” ratings, and AcaPella received 2 perfect ballots and one judge gave them a “1+”. They also traveled to West Liberty on Saturday and Bravo got 1st place in the prep division and AcaPella got 2nd place in 3A, and 2nd runner up in the finals, also receiving “best stage crew” and “best show design”. Congrats to everyone involved. They will travel to Benton Community this Saturday.
Students taking the Iowa Assessments on Wednesday are asked to bring a calculator for the Mathematics Test. This needs to be a standard multifunction calculator. The school will not be providing calculators. You will not be allowed to used your computer, phone, i-pod or any other electronic device.
The Little Hawkeye Band Festival at Dallas Center Grimes has been cancelled for today.
Athletics
Need volunteer hours? 2 people are needed at 7:00 p.m. tonight to help in the concession stand. Please see Charma if you are able to help.

Results:
- Varsity girls and boys basketball teams defeated Norwalk Friday night.
- Boys bowling remains undefeated winning over Norwalk on Saturday. Girls lost.
- Both will compete in the Little Hawkeye Conference this Saturday.
- Boys swimming advances to state, placing 4th at districts. Isaak Webb received 1st place in 100 Meter breaststroke (new team record), 2nd in 100 Meter Fly (a new team record) and 3rd in the 200 Medley relay and fee relay. Aaron King and Lucas Warner placed 3rd in the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay. Both had 5th and 6th place finishes in events.
