Sophomores and Juniors – Are you interested in a Leadership Conference this summer? The local Rotary organization wants to sponsor this amazing experience for you, free of charge! Please stop in the guidance office to speak with Mrs. Thompson about the details!

 

Students, if you plan to take an AP test, please register and pay online by this Friday, March 4. Late registrations will not be accepted.

 

The Pella High School Speech Team competed at District Individual Event contest on Saturday February 27th in Marshalltown. 35 entries will advance to State onMarch 12th. Congratulations to everyone who competed. All students advancing to State need to check their email today!

 

Lauren Ashworth competed in the Poetry Out Loud competition yesterday at the Iowa State Historical Building in Des Moines. Lauren was one of 13 school winners who competed in the contest. Congratulations!


 

Athletics

Pep bus sign up is today in Charma’s office located across from Mrs. Ryal’s room 402 in the auditorium hallway for the girls’ basketball game.  The cost is $20.00 which includes the ticket.  The bus leaves at 8:15 a.m. and will return by the end of the school day.

 

Tickets for the girls basketball game will go on sale tomorrow starting at 8:00 a.m. by the main office.  The cost is $10.00

 

Boy’s soccer will have a meeting today after school in the study hall room 113.  If you are unable to attend, please see Coach Solomon.

 

Sign ups for girls tennis, boys tennis, girls golf and boys golf are in Charma’s office.

 

Varsity girls basketball team, please stop and see Charma today.
