The Internet is a Distract… OH LOOK A KITTEN!  Please plan on reporting to the auditorium for homeroom.  The speech team will be performing.

 

There will be a meeting on Tuesday, February 13, for students interested in pursuing an AA degree through DMACC before graduating from Pella High School. Please see Mrs. Manning if you are interested in attending. A representative from DMACC will be in the library during iLearn A for a question/answer session.

 

Don’t forget to order your Valentine rose from Mrs. Grubb’s Life Skills Class! Each rose is $5.00. Stop in to room 1402 to place your order!  Roses will be ready for pick up on Valentines’ Day, Feb. 14th!

 

Congrats to our show choirs this weekend for their performances at Benton Community Invitational.  Bravo finished 4th runner up in prep and Sam Burrows received best male soloist.  AcaPella finished class 3A champion, and swept all categories of best vocals, best choreography, and best band; also receiving “most creative use of band”.  This weekend, they host Dutch Masters on Friday night for other middle schools and on Saturday for 15 high school show choirs.  AcaPella performs at 5:20 p.m. and Bravo at 9:25 p.m. on Saturday.

Congratulations to Caleb Gaylor, Carter Briggs and Jacob Nedder on their great performance at on Saturday at State Swimming!

Congratulations to the jv and varsity girls basketball teams on their victories Friday night!

 

Good luck to the jv and freshman boys basketball teams as they host Oskaloosa tonight.  The game will be played at Madison.
