Announcements
Period 3 and 4, Drawing 1 classes will meet in the cafeteria commons area today and tomorrow.
Drawing 1 students should bring needed supplies with them, as we will not be in the Art Room.
Athletics
Tomorrow night at the basketball games, there will be a coat drive for Crossroads of Pella. They are looking for new or gently used coats from kids to adults. If you are unable to make the game, you may drop them off to Charma’s office this week.
Varsity football seniors and juniors, please stop by Charma’s office today.
Results:
Boys Varsity and Girls JV basketball teams defeated DC-G and varsity girls lost Friday night.
Freshman girls and boys/JV boys basketball teams defeated Bondurant on Saturday.
Varsity wrestling placed 4th out of 10 at Montezuma and Matthew Widmar, Aaron Born, Andrew Whitten, Ethan Speltz, Seb Sikora, James Van Gorp, Ashton Messer, Stoyn Kirby and Keegan Poole all placing in the top 10. JV wrestling did well at Bondurant with all placing in the top 5.
Boys Bowling defeated Fairfield and girls lost.
Boys Swim team placed 3rd at the Newton Invite. Aaron King placed 1st in the 100 M butterfly and the 200 freestyle relay, 3rd in 200 Medley Relay and 5th in 400 freestyle.
