We hope that you will join us for tonight’s Pella High School Holiday Concert presented by the Band and Orchestra departments.  Both songs of the season and some new and interesting musical works will be presented by the Concert & Symphonic Bands, Orchestra, and four percussion ensembles.  The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and admission is FREE.  A goodwill donation will be taken at door.  All donations benefit the band and orchestra activity funds.

Varsity football players:  Please stop in Charma’s office today  to sign the coaches’ footballs.


  • JV girls and Varisty boys basketball teams lost to Dallas Center-Grimes and Varsity girls won Friday night.
  • Freshman boys basketball lost to Bondurant Farrar and JV boys won on Saturday.
  • Varsity Wrestling placed 4th out of 10 teams on Saturday at Montezuma. Chase Petty and Jake Speltz both placing 1st. JV at Bondurant had a good showing with 6 placing in the top 3.

 Boys Swim team with Newton placed 2nd in a 6 team invitational. Isaak Webb and his team set a new school record in the 200 freestyle relay. Aaron King and Lucas Warner also bringing home 1st place and 2nd place finishes in their events.

Congratulations to the Varsity Forte members on their performances last Friday at the ISDTA Team Championships at Wells Fargo Arena.  Forte earned a Division 1 rating in all three routines and placed 1st in Class 3 Kick, 1st place in Large School Military and 1st place in Class 11 Pom.  Earning them a Triple Crown!!!
