 Athletics

Boys Soccer will practice on the lower grass field behind the high school today at 3:30.Varsity Boys Soccer team bus will leave tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. sharp, so please arrive before departing time for the tournament at Roosevelt.

Congrats to the Boys Track and Field Team on another solid team victory last night at Nevada.
1st place: Jordan Pingel in 400 meters, Ben Konfrst in discuss, Aaron Houtz in 800 meters and the 4 x 800 relay team of Ben Warner, Payson Vande Lune, Levi Heschke, Aaron Houtz and Distance Medley relay team of Derrick Akers, Nathan Henry, Lukas Steenhoek, Jordan Pingel.
2nd place: Levi Heschke in 800 meters, Michael Buma in 400 hurdles, Garret Jansen in discus, Cody De Kruyff in shot put and Adam Sievers in the 3200 meter.
The Lady Dutch Track Team cruised to victory last night in Nevada scoring over 200 points. The team had 12 first place finishes highlighted by Tess Roorda breaking the school record in the 1500 meters, Becky Visser’s High Jump PR and Heidi Groenendyk’s PR in the Shot Put. Girls Golf team lost to Newton.
Boys soccer defeated Fairfield 7-2, JV tied 3-3
Girls Soccer defeated Fairfield 5-0 and JV 3-0
Boys tennis defeated SE Polk. Singles winners were: Jamison Roozeboom, Tom Palmer, Tom Pettit, Sam Dykstra and Colin Jones. Doubles were Jamison Roozeboom/Tom Pettit, Sam Dykstra/Colin Jones
Girls tennis defeated SE Polk. Singles winners were: Bri Buzick, Lauren Kriegel, Alli Dingeman, Leah Wilborn. Doubles were Sami Wassenaar/ Bri Buzick, Molly Kalkwarf/Alli Dingeman, Leah Wilborn/Anne Williamson, Emma Johnson/Mackenzie Bossard
