Students interested in participating in mock trial need to attend an informative meeting Tuesday, September 9 during 10th period.

Student Council applications will be due on Friday to either your social studies teacher or Mrs. Tjeerdsma.  Please see Mrs. Tjeerdsma if you have any questions.

Pursue, Persist, Defeat – is the theme for the HS volleyball team this season.  If you’d like to buy a volleyball t-shirt, please get an information sheet from the office.  Short sleeve shirts are $12 and can be purchased on-line. See Mrs. Brand if you have questions.  Deadline is Friday, September 6. Go Dutch!

Friday night is a WHITE OUT at the first home football game of the season! We hope to see you all out at the stadium, wearing white, this Friday. Need a white t-shirt? White FEAR THE DUTCH t-shirts are available at Sports Page or in the high school athletic office.  Cost is $5.00. See you at the game — GO DUTCH!

Varsity Home Football Game Rules for Pella Students

Pella High School has established the following rules for home football games.

1.  Students are to remain in the assigned areas while the football game is in progress. Students using the concession stand or restrooms must return to the assigned area as soon as possible.

Assigned Areas: MS -HS North bleachers or north end of stadium

2.  For safety reasons –no items are to be thrown while in the stadium. Footballs, frisbees, etc. are not to be brought to football games.

3.  Students are to be courteous at all times so that all spectators can watch the game without being distracted.

4.  Students are to stay on the Pella side of the field at both home and away games. No loitering behind/under the home bleachers.

5.  Only sealed water bottles may be brought into the stadium. Outside food and open drinks will not be allowed inside the stadium.

6.  Do not bring skateboards, roller blades, scooters, or similar items into the stadium.

7.  Students who violate the rules may be removed from the stadium.
