Announcements:

-The Foundations & Futures Thrift Store is open today from 8:30-10:30. 

Stop by and purchase Pella gear! They are located across the hall from the FCS room.

Cash or Card accepted.

-The access road that goes by the baseball and softball will be closed to any traffic for this week and next week from 6am to 5pm. There will be construction using this path and make it difficult for walkers and vehicles.

-A representative from Kirkwood Community College will be here to visit with students over lunch next Monday, October 12th. 

-Locker rooms will be cleaned out on Monday morning.  Please be sure to have all of your items picked up and put away in lockers where they belong.  Any items left out will be removed.

-Seniors- Next Thursday (Oct. 15) your photo for the yearbook will be taken in Mr. Brandt’s room (rm 1213) from 5th period to the end of 8th period. 

-All students should be sure to check their Flexi-Schedule each day to see if they have been assigned an iLearn! 

Activities:

-The tennis court lot will be closed for student parking both Monday and Tuesday of next week due to the Girls state tournament.  Please arrive early to find alternative parking.

-If you are interested in joining wrestling cheer, please see Alecia in the main office. 

-There is an FCA huddle this Friday night after the football game. FCA stands for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and all are welcome! We will have snacks, games, and a brief message. It will be in the cafeteria right after the football game this Friday! Hope to see you there!

-Congratulations to Reagan DeJong and Addi Nammiga for placing 3rd in doubles competition at the State Tennis Tournament!

-Good luck to the football team as they host Oskaloosa tonight.

-Good luck to the volleyball team and the Marching Dutch as they compete tomorrow!
