Students: There will be a short homeroom period on Monday after 1st period. Your schedules for next school year will be handed out. Please check your homeroom classroom number on infinite campus or posted on the office window.

 

Athletics

Results:

Girls Tennis advances to state singles with Lily Roozeboom as Regional Champion and Bronwyn Metcalf as runner up.

 

Girls Soccer lost to Ankeny Centennial

 

Boys Soccer lost to Perry in the last of of their regular season. They will play Wednesday night in the 2nd round of Substate against the winner of Oskaloosa/Carlisle game.

 

Girls Golf lost to Fairfield yesterday but win the Little Hawkeye Conference to end their regular season. Regionals begin on Monday.

 

Boys track had a great first day and is in 2nd place with19 team points

  • Tyson Wassenaar State Runner Up in Discus
  • Austin Hill  3rd place in Discus
  • Nick Bernhagen 6th place in the 3200
  • 4×800 relay 7th place, Adam Sievers, Nick Bernhagen, Micah Wittenberg, Payson VandeLune
  • Chase Van Sant qualified for the finals in both the 100 and 200.

 

Girls Track off to a great start and set a school record in the shuttle hurdle relay and is ranked #12th all time Iowa. The 4 x 800 team had a  season best time and Annika Pingel set a school record in the 200 M Dash and is 2nd going into finals. Big day today and tomorrow for the team.

 

Good luck to the track teams today and tomorrow at state.
