Graduated from William Penn University to earn my teaching endorsement in Industrial Technology. I have also attended Indian Hills Community College, where I earned a Building Trades Diploma, and University of Missouri, where I earned my MS in Learning Technology and Design. I started working at Pella Schools in the Fall of 2019. Before coming to Pella, I spent 12 years teaching in Albia as well as adjunct teaching for Indian Hills Community College and William Penn University. I also spent time doing construction work. I enjoyed helping build several houses in the Oskaloosa area. Beyond teaching; I am happily married, since 2008, and have two daughters at home. We live on a small hobby farm and enjoy sharing the joys that brings with our children and church congregation.
