I’m originally from Ontario, Canada. I have a bachelor’s degree in K-12 Physical Education and Health with a Special Education endorsement. I have masters’ degrees in Business Leadership from William Penn University and PK-12 Principal/Supervisor of Special Education from Viterbo University. I started teaching in 2017 as a high school special education teacher with Tipton Community School District in Tipton, Iowa, and Sigourney Community School District in Sigourney, Iowa. I began my teaching career in Pella as a student teacher at Pella Middle School in 2017. I serve as the assistant varsity volleyball coach for Pella High School and the assistant volleyball coach for William Penn University’s men’s volleyball. I reside in Oskaloosa, IA with my wife, (Jamie), son (Steven Jr.) and daughter (Kennedy).
