I was born and raised in Madrid, the capital of Spain. I moved to the United States with my son and husband where we – twenty two years later became – U.S. citizens. My family has grown since and we are a colorful bunch of seven now. I attended college in Madrid, Spain and Central College in Pella, Iowa where I studied Elementary and Secondary Education with an emphasis in Foreign Languages. I also attained a Masters Degree in Arts of Education through Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin. I have a passion for my language and culture, and my job allows me to share both with my students, here, at Pella Community High School. I started teaching at PCHS in January 2001.
