My name is Mr. Schott and I started my teaching career at Pella in January of 2015. A native of central Iowa, I graduated from North Polk High School. I then attended the University of Northern Iowa and received my Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education in 2014. I now live in Pella with my wife, Shannon.
I get the pleasure of working with outstanding students, grades 5-12 every single day. I instruct the 5-12th grade percussion studio, teach 6-12th grade individual lessons, direct the HS drumline as well as a variety of percussion ensembles, teach 8th grade band, co-direct 5th grade band, direct the HS jazz band 2, and serve as the auditorium manager.
