Winter Formal is Saturday, February 1 from 8:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. The dance will be held at Madison Elementary. Admission is $5/person. As in previous years there will be game tables set up in the gym. If you are bringing someone who is not a Pella High student please stop in the office and pick up a “Guest Request Form.” This form must be returned no later than Friday, January 31 by the end of the school day.
Central College is hosting an on-campus visit on Wednesday, February 12, from 1:30-4:00. Transportation is provided. All 9th-12th grade students are invited. If you’re interested, sign up in the counseling office by February 7th.
Seniors, we are starting to finalize things for graduation. Please stop in the office to approve the spelling of your name for your diploma.
Activities
On Saturday 14 of 18 entries at District Large Group Speech contest received “one” ratings and will advance to State on February 8th. Congratulations to all team members. Come out and see all of the Speech entries from Pella High and Pella Christian on Thursday January 30th, 7:00 p.m. at Pella High. A Free will donation taken at the door.
Congratulations to the Show Choir! Bravo placed 3rd in the Prep Division. AcaPella placed 3rd in 3A and 2nd Runner up over all!
Congratulations to the boys and girls basketball teams on their victories over Pella Christian on Saturday night!
Congratulations to the wrestling team placing 4th at the Williamsburg on Saturday!
