Are you interested in going out for Debate, Speech or the Fall Play? Come to a brief informational and organizational meeting on Tuesday September 3rd at 7:30 a.m., during i-Learn A or after school. All meetings are in room 2006. You only need to attend one meeting. See Mrs. Jones if you have questions.
Auditions for the Fall Play Almost, Maine will be held on Wednesday September 4th at 7:15 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and again on Thursday September 5th at 7:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. We will have callbacks on Friday, September 6th, if needed. You may attend as many audition times as you wish, but only one is required. See Mrs. Jones if you have questions.
The Yearbook Staff will be distributing the 2019 Duchess in the lunch room today. There will also be a Signing Challenge. The winner will win a 10 dollar gift card to Smokey Row.
Seniors will be having their photos taken twice on Sept. 6- in the morning by Life Touch and for the yearbook during 7th and 8th period in the back room of the Media Center.
Athletics
Activity passes need to be picked up by the end of the school day today or you will have to pay the admission fee to get into the game. The cost is $5.00
The NCMP Aquagirls won a four team meet last night, beating Grinnell, Williamsburg, and Des Moines Roosevelt. Varsity first place finishers included: Kenzie VanMaanen, Hannah Nedder, and Maylei Ruggles. JV first place finishers included: Abbie Hill, Emily Mills, and Emily Vandermolen. Great job ladies!
