Activity Results:

• Dutch ran a great race at Norwalk yesterday; boys finished 3rd and girls finished 8th

Activity Schedule:

• The Middle School choir will participate in Singfest Honor Choir at Central College today, and the Middle School band will have Honor Band Auditions.
• The Middle School football team will play DCG today; 7th grade will play at home, 8th grade will head to DCG, dismissal at 2:00.
• The Middle School volleyball team will play Grinnell today; 8th grade will play here at home, 7th grade will head to Grinnell, dismissal at 2:45.
• Good luck to all of our Middle School participants!

Reminders:

• PICTURE DAY! Teachers will dismiss you when it is time to head down to pose for the ultimate school picture. Every student will have their picture taken for the yearbook, even if you are not ordering a package from Lifetouch.
• There is a basket in the office for collecting laundry supplies for Operation Share the Load.
• 7th PE Wed. and Thursday will go outside weather permitting. Be prepared with proper shoes and clothing for cooler weather and being off hard surfaces.
• 8th PE please bring computers to the gym.
• Reminder it is 7th Grade PE and 8th Grade Health tomorrow, Wednesday.
• Tomorrow is the healthiest state initiative walk. We will all be participating by walking during our lunch recess time. Please wear comfy clothes and have your tennis shoes on and ready to go outside and walk.
• And finally, the award goes to…Scott Tjeerdsma for being named Middle School Athletic Director of the year for the Southeast Iowa District. Congratulations Mr. Tjeerdsma!
