Life Serve will be at the high school Monday, November 9th for a blood drive. Contact Mr. Thorson or Mrs. Clayberg to sign up for a time. You will need to bring permission slips if you are a first time donor.
Athletics
Bowling will have a meeting tomorrow after school at 3:30 in the big study hall, room 113 for those interested in going out.
Tickets for tonight’s football game are available by Charma’s office till 4:00 p.m. The cost is $6.00 per person. Gates open at 6:00 p.m.
Results:
Congratulations to Forte members Jessica Pottridge, Sarah Coppock, Elyse Parisee, Paige Meyer, Erica Nossaman and Journey Reynolds on their performances Saturday at the ISDTA State Solo Contest. All of the dancers earned a Division I rating in class V dance. Jessica also earned 2nd place in overall in class V dance.
Congratulations to the girls swim team for finishing second at regionals. Samantha Hedrick placed 1st in 200 Freestyle and 100 butter fly both with a new school records. She got 4th in the 200 freestyle relay and 3rd with Madeline Webb in the 400 Freestyle relay. Madeline Webb placed 5th in the 100 Freestyle also. Lindsey Blommers placed 5th in the 100 Meter Breastroke. Samantha and Madeline both qualified for State this Saturdayat Marshalltown YMCA.
Congratulations to the Cross Country teams with the girls placing 2nd and boys placed 3rd at the state meet last Saturday. Great season with perfect efforts from everyone!
