Congrats to all of the choir students who were selected into the All-State choir, after auditioning on Saturday at Indianola. 7 choir members were selected and they were: Nathan Henry, Paige Miller, Shanae Burch, Camille Henry, Katie Bennett, Joel Williams, Mike Roozeboom, and Jarod Martens. 2 others were recalled and they were: Allee Kowzan and Lexi DeJong. Congrats to all musicians involved.
Congratulations to Bellara Huang who was selected for the Iowa All-State Orchestra on 2nd violin.
Congratulations to Lauren Kriegel for being selected into the Iowa All-State Band on Bassoon. Katelyn Bonham received 1st alternate on Trumpet and Adam Smart received 2nd alternate on Euphonium
Jazz Band 2 will rehearse after school today.

Coats for Kids and winter gear donations will be accepted all week by Charma’s office.

Winter cheer tryouts will be held Thursday, October 29th, at 5:30 at Madison Elementary. Sign up will be in Charma’s office.
Girls basketball sign up is in Charma’s office for those going out this year as well as wrestling and bowling sign ups.
Students needing a ride to the State Cross Country meet in Fort Dodge meet at the Fareway parking lot by 6:00 am on Saturday, Oct 31. Carpools will leave at 6:15 amsharp! Carpools might eat at Hickory Park after the meet with an expected arrival back in Pella around 8:00 pm.

Freshman and Varsity football defeated Chariton
