Students looking for volunteer hours: The art center has an after school program that is in need of HS student volunteers. The hours would be after school and located at the Community Center. Please check in with Mrs. Thompson for contact information.

Congratulations to the Pella H.S. Symphonic Band.  They were selected through a highly competitive audition process to be the class 3A representative performing at the Iowa Bandmaster’s Association Spring Convention.  Their performance will be Thursday, May 14th at 5:00 p.m. in the main ballroom of the downtown Marriott Hotel in Des Moines!

National Honor Society will meet at 9:25 on Thursday in the cafeteria.

It’s that time again!  Time to PERK up your morning!  Do not miss out Perks Cafe this Friday morning from7:15-8:10!  We will be serving up some warm freshly made scones, cinnamon rolls, Dutch Sausage Buns and French Toast Stix!  Also, don’t forget about our awesome Smoothies!  Just the way to start out yourFriday.  Don’t forget to run down first thing Friday morning to get your morning Perks!

 

Athletics

This Friday night at the Pella-Pella Christian basketball game is Coaches vs Cancer night and there are $5.00 Beat Cancer t-shirts in our school colors available in Charma’s office until quantities run out.  All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.
Any prospective boys soccer players who are interested in participating in the UNI or William Penn indoor soccer tournaments need to contact Coach Solomon BEFORE Friday. These tournaments are available only for athletes who are not currently committed to a winter sport.

Jv girls lost to Grinnell and Varsity girls and boys defeated Grinnell.
