Activity Results:

-7th grade girls basketball won both games against Oskaloosa last night. Great teamwork ladies!

-8th grade girls won both games as well with the green team winning 38-9 and the white team winning 40-14.  A total of 19 of the 23 girls who played scored! Great job ladies!

Today’s Lunch:  popcorn chicken or crispito  Monday:  hot ham & cheese or chicken nuggets

Character Counts Recognition:

-Hunter Tooley & Nathan Nardini for helping hang all the mural designs in the lunchroom

-Hannah Snitker for turning in money she found

Remember:

-Student Council will meet today 10th pd in Mrs. Pentico’s office.

-8th graders have your laptops for PE today.

-All students make sure you are bringing your coats or homework with you to lunch. If you are not working on homework, you will go outside.

–The first Friday in February every year is a day to raise awareness about heart disease being the #1 killer of women.  Pella MS is holding an awareness contest next week.  On Monday all 7th grade students and staff and on Tuesday all 8th grade students and staff will wear RED. The grade wearing the most RED on their day wins a 10th pd recess on Tuesday.  Be RED!

-Students and staff:  Please view the works of art in the showcase and on the walls in the lunch room.  You will be voting for your three favorite designs on Friday afternoon.   The designs that get the most votes will be incorporated into murals that the Design classes will paint on the middle school walls.
